Demographic scoring in Marketo

Apart from demographic and basic behavioral scoring such as clicks and views, mature Marketo implementations should leverage carefully architected ‘progression status’ based scoring too. For example, lead scoring should give additional scores for webinar registrations, attendance, and even offline viewing. Marketo program level progression status streamlines this tracking and allows us to use it intelligently in lead scoring.

We have implemented this for several instances for several customers and highly recommend to use it.
